Grandson to Jack Burnett, founder of Provincial Fruit Co. Limited, and son of Joseph Burnett, Chairman of the Board, Lorne was destined to become part of the produce industry and fulfill the family legacy. Lorne graduated with an MBA from Schulich School of Business at York University in 1994 and went on to receive his CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) in 1998. Formerly with Gordon Capital, Merrill Lynch, and National Bank Financial, Lorne brings to this role over 20 years of diverse business experience from the investment community.
Starting his career with Burnac Corporation in 2007, Lorne held the position of Executive Vice President. He then transferred to Burnac Produce in late 2009, as Assistant Vice-Chairman, due to its dynamic developments.

Domenic’s career began in the produce industry over 40 years ago (1977).
From 1983 to 1999, he spent various periods with Fortinos food stores as, firstly, Senior Produce Buyer and Merchandiser, then as Senior Director of Operations and then Vice-President of Procurement, Merchandising and Marketing.
In 1999, he was appointed Vice-President of Produce Procurement at Loblaws (Canada’s largest retail food store operation) and held that position through to 2007.
Domenic has served as a member of the international advisory to the PMA, as well as CPMA’s North American Trade Task Force which addresses trade in the diverse global marketplace.

Graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce from Trinity College of the University of Toronto Joe went on to receive his CA (Chartered Accountant) in 1988 while working with the predecessor firm to Pricewaterhouse Coopers. During the period of 1986 to 1989 he worked as an auditor in real estate, communications, manufacturing and distribution. From 1989 to 1996 he was with Oxford Development Group Inc. where he was Director of Accounting.
Joe joined Burnac Corporation in 1997 as the Controller of the real estate division, became VP in 2001, CFO of the Burnac Produce group of companies in 2003 and CFO of Burnac Corporation in 2014.
Under his guidance Burnac Produce and its subsidiaries are leaders in the efficient use of technology and are positioned for major growth. His work in executive reporting programs, inventory management, foreign currency strategies and assurance of best procedures puts Burnac well ahead of all competitors.
